Your role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to:


• design and implement AI capabilities (models, assistants and agents) for Finance
• develop capabilities and predictive models for anomaly detection, clustering, classification, variance analysis and forecasting.
• develop assistants and agents for contextual commentary generation, driver analysis and other actional workflows in Finance.
• build production-grade scalable AI solutions in a multi-agentic architecture.
• work with a global team of AI scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful AI products.
• take ownership of end-to-end delivery within a collaborative and agile environment.
• embrace complex business requirements and enjoy the challenge of translating them into intelligent solutions.
• work as part of an agile development team within a global technology team.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Agentic AI Crew in Pune under the Data & AI Stream, playing a key role in implementation of ampliFi. ampliFi is one of the AI big rocks in UBS to deliver an AI first modernized platform and ledger infrastructure for Finance.

Your expertise

• proven hands-on experience in AI/ML model and agent development and deployment.
• strong proficiency in Python programming for AI and data workflows.
• proficiency with Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
• experience with AI Ops, MLOps, and production-grade pipeline design for AI solutions.
• knowledge of libraries like openai, langchain, langgraph, h2o, scikitlearn, keras/tensorflow
• knowledge of SQL, Spark, and Databricks ML for data processing and analytics is a plus.
• skills with cloud engineering for AI preferably Azure AI Foundry and Cognitive Services.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset.
• ability to think AI and embed it into business processes and deliver measurable outcomes.
• curious to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing.
• a self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and a growth mindset.
