• develop required web applications and services by participating in systems design and architecture and following sound development methods, tools and techniques
• technical implementation, following clean code principles
• test, deploy, maintain, and improve the services
• identify and work with people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
• collaborate with other global tech and cross-functional teams to work towards global tech solutions

Your team

You’ll be working in the Group Compliance and Regulatory Governance (GCRG) IT team based in Pune. Our team is responsible for developing Information Barrier and Restricted List applications.

Your expertise

• 4+ years of professional application development with server-side technologies – Core Java & Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and build tools Maven/Gradle/Ivy
• Understanding of Microservices and RESTful implementation. Familiarity with API security with OAUTH2/OIDC
• 4+ years’ experience in Web UI development covering HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React JS
• Experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL / Azure SQL / Oracle
• Good practical experience with data structures, algorithms, SOLID principles
• Familiarity in building cloud native applications using containers and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Familiar with Git as source code repository operating in DevOps principles for task automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of the application development (SDLC), design patterns and support life cycle.
• Familiar with Junit providing unit test case coverage
• Experience working in Agile Teams following SCRUM practices and associated ceremonies.
• Ideally possess financial industry knowledge
• Comfortable working with people from a diversity of backgrounds and cultures
