Your role

As a Senior Product Owner / Lead Business Analyst, you will play a key role in building and managing the data foundation of UBS Asset Management, working at the intersection of data, technology, and business.
- Managing the Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap for all applications supporting our data foundation, ensuring alignment with the CDO’s strategic vision.
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with key stakeholders across UBS Asset Management to analyze business requirements, define use cases, and translate them into actionable projects.
- As-Is Process & Data Flow Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current data flows, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Target Operating Model & Data Architecture Design: Work closely with data engineers and architects to design the target operating model and data architecture that will transform our data management landscape.
- Data Analytics & Insights: Leverage data analytics to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data, providing insights that drive business decisions and improve data quality.
- Documentation & User Support: Ensure all data systems and processes are well-documented, including process flows, data dictionaries, and user guides. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist end-users during transitions to new platforms.

- Impacting the Industry: Help shape the future of asset management by leveraging data to drive efficiency, performance, and innovation.

Your expertise

- Proven Experience: 8-12 years as a Senior Business Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, or Product Owner, ideally within the financial industry, with a focus on Asset Management.
- Proficiency in SQL: Strong command of SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Data Modelling Expertise: Proven ability in data modeling and experience working with complex datasets to support decision-making and data architecture design.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Visionary Mindset: Passion for innovation and cutting-edge technologies, particularly in driving the adoption of AI and GenAI in the data space.
