UBS SECURITIES LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Research - Americas Equity in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Research - Americas Equity to:
• Conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select medical supplies and devices securities to aid in making solid investment decisions.
• Author research reports on covered companies to communicate investment theses and opine on news flow events. Build and maintain financial models to track and value companies.
• Prepare research reports that include company overview, competitive analysis, valuation, and other relevant information based on quantitative and fundamental factors.
• Communicate investment theses to clients and institutional sales.Attend industry and investor events.
• Conduct due diligence on potential banking transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary & Work Schedule: $150000 to $200000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Health and Societies, Chemistry, Finance, or related field of study plus one (1) years of experience in the job offered or as a Consultant, Equity Research Associate, or related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• covering Medical Supplies and Devices stocks; building and maintaining full financial models in Excel with integrated P&L/BS/CF
• constructing investment theses on companies, factoring in valuation, catalysts, risk-reward and sentiment; sell side or buy side MedTech analysis; analyzing third party data
• presenting to and communicating with MedTech C-suite including CEO, CFO,CMO, and CSO
• liaising with MedTech key opinion leaders; valuation and market analysis
• performing market studies to assess supply and demand dynamics; developing financial feasibility analyses to support investment decisions
