We are looking for someone to:
Event content curation
• Work in partnership with Marketing leadership and business stakeholders to coordinate programme content for conferences and expert events, aligning to strategic, regional, market and sector themes
• Support on agenda format and structure to ensure it delivers for the target audience and event objectives
• Liaise with external agencies and work through internal channels to source high quality speakers from across academic, corporate, public, private, cultural, sports and government sectors
• Partner with Event Marketing on speaker logistics to ensure a seamless client and speaker experience
• Set up briefing calls and drive post event follow up with speakers
• Support and shepherd the amplification of conference content across social and traditional media
• Draft, align, elevate conference promotional materials and copy
Speaker management
• Manage the speaker sourcing process end to end: research, negotiation, due diligence, scope of engagement
• Work closely with Event Marketing and in-house travel agent on logistics, travel and scheduling
• Negotiate multi event contracts and / or multi appearance engagements to deliver maximum value.
• Work with Event Marketing throughout the workflow ensuring L&C/Diligence processes are followed
Marketing Strategy:
support and execution
• Support APAC marketing strategists for Global Markets, Global Banking and China to shape the end-to-end Brand & Marketing planning process for business lines and APAC markets (GC, SEA, Korea, Japan, India, ANZ)
• Work with Execution team to deliver multi-channel marketing activities that articulate our differentiators and new strengths, answering the question 'Why UBS?' for clients in Asia Pacific
• Support on product marketing - high impact, scalable and measurable sales enablement programs and client engagement campaigns that help defend, grow, or transform the IB bottom line.
• Drive campaigns that amplify messages, drive consideration and influence perception
• Amplify our sources of differentiated content from flagship investor conferences, Research, sales and trading macro commentary, Global Banking thought leadership and third-party partnerships
• Help shape IB proprietary content (Research) for free-to-air consumption to promote our thought leadership and brand message in the public domain
• Support our IB social media presence across all channels, harmonizing with other UBS entities/accounts with campaigns and bespoke content tailored to IB audiences and beyond

You'll be part of a team which covers marketing activity for the Investment Bank in Hong Kong and North Asia. You will be working with various functions: Execution, Sponsorship, Branding, Corporate Communications to deliver comprehensive events and conferences to our business partners in the Investment Bank. Our culture is one of collaboration so where relevant, you will also work in partnership with other divisions to achieve shared goals and visions.
The Investment Bank business provides access and insights through conferences, client events, expert seminars/round tables, corporate days, investor conferences with 1-1 and group meetings. These interactions between industry experts and regulators, issuers, corporate clients, internal research and institutional investors are an integral part of the Investment Bank sales and advisory process.
Your expertise
You have:
• 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services or agency side working on financial services accounts
• expertise in content curation, speaker sourcing and programme development
• strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• experience in multi-channel content creation – long form, video, audio, digital
• campaign analytics & reporting, social media and marketing metrics
• strong understanding of financial markets, content and organizational structures
