UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Credit Risk Analyst in Morrisville, NC.

We’re looking for an Authorized Officer, Credit Risk Analyst to:
• Review the portfolio management of loans to borrowers in various industries with a focus on leveraged lending.
• Perform fundamental credit analysis to provide independent risk recommendations to Credit Officers regarding risk ratings.
• Perform periodic credit review of the borrowers in the credit portfolio in terms of their financial performances, liquidity analysis, covenant compliance, business outlooks and collateral analysis.
• Closely monitor business, financial, and industry developments to maintain up to date risk ratings and portfolio outlooks.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/Remote).

Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant, Tax Consultant, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• Accounting, including calculating and interpreting key ratios. Evaluating a company’s credit worthiness, identifying key financial and industry trends
• Key macroeconomic indicators and their business impact; Dissecting 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and proxy statements to extract key financial, legal and strategic information
• Debt covenants and capital structure; Valuations and the key factors that influence them; Conveying information to senior audiences
• Advanced Excel including proficiency with formulas to support financial analysis; SQL and data analytics tools including Power BI and Tableau
• Using GAAP and IFRS to navigate cross-border transactions and accurate financial interpretation.
