UBS Asset Management (Americas) LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Research Analyst - Active Equities in New York, NY.

We’re looking for an Authorized Officer, Research Analyst - Active Equities to:
• Provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments. Conduct financial statement analysis and build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections.
• Convert industry knowledge into investment opinions. Analyze data to assess and describe current and long term trends.
• Remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies. Conduct valuation analysis within an industry, sector, or asset class.
• Communicate with internal and external clients to convey investment recommendations and ideas. Provide information to clients on covered instrument/asset classes including stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary & Work Schedule: $125,000 to $135,000 Per Year, 40 hrs/wk. The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics in Finance, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Research Analyst, or related occupation.
Position requires one (1) year experience with the following:
• programming languages such as Python and Julia, focusing on scientific computing; back-testing statistical models to validate model efficacy; using SQL to process and organize financial data
Position requires any experience with the following:
• financial risk; quantitative analysis for credit default risk; Bloomberg; FactSet
• developing and communicating insights regarding the value, risk, and volatility of a covered asset class
• analyzing financial data and maintaining financial models systematically to create insight on financial situations of publicly traded companies
