Your role

Do you enjoy working in dynamic teams? Are you excited by the opportunity to work on complex and market leading transactions? Are you solutions oriented?

We’re looking for someone like that who can:
– work together with senior bankers within the team and broader Global Banking to originate business, including developing pitch book presentations, financial modelling, and keeping up to date on marketing materials;
– coordinate with our product team partners and sector coverage teams located in other geographies to develop cross-product ideas;
– build and maintain client relationships to expand their network;
– actively participate in all phases of the transaction process including financial modeling, due diligence, internal credit approval, drafting investor materials, loan syndications; and
– develop a broad skill base including an understanding of a range of UBS industry sectors and product groups.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Leveraged Finance team within the Investment Banking division (UBS Global Banking), based in Sydney.

Your expertise

– 1 - 4 years' gained from working in investment banking, accountancy, law, strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession, with a track record of success;
– strong academic results;
– solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce presentation material and financial analysis quickly and accurately (you get it, and can communicate it to others).
– able to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
– able to work under pressure and balance multiple transactions and workstreams at the same time
– a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
– always looking to expand your skill set, including relationship building; and
– committed to a career in investment banking and leveraged finance *#LI-TC1
