As part of our team, you will:

• Develop and maintain quality engineering solutions that strengthen UBS’s position as a digital first financial services company.
• Design and execute robust testing approaches using modern programming languages and industry standard QE tools.
• Suggest improvements and enhancements to existing testing solutions and processes.
• Review and test code, participate in design discussions, and collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders.
• Ensure the reliability, stability, and accuracy of components before they reach production.
• Investigate and analyze root causes of defects or production issues.
• Document delivered solutions and testing outcomes clearly and thoroughly.
• Review code and automation created by teammates and provide constructive feedback.

Your team
You’ll be working in the Quality Engineering team in Krakow.
We focus on ensuring software quality across the UBS ecosystem using a modern tech stack such as Playwright, TypeScript, GitHub Copilot, and established enterprise solutions based on Java, Python, SQL, Databricks, Azure, and more.

Your expertise
Our basic requirements:
We welcome applicants who have either already graduated from a recognized university or are in the final year (seventh semester) of their degree course at the start of the Program in August 2026.
For many of our technical roles, we do ask that you have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. No professional experience is necessary, but a computer science or computer engineering-related educational background is required.
Your experience and skills
• Understanding of networks, operating systems, data structures, and databases
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python)
• Ability to write and reason about code
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
