We are looking for a Tech Graduate Program – Software Engineer working with key business stakeholders across the globe.

As a part of your team, you will
• Build tech solutions that solve real business problems and strengthen UBS’s position as a digital-first financial services company.
• Understand and analyze what the business needs - for the whole firm
• Design and deliver long lasting solutions using modern programming languages.
• Give suggestions, and help improve current processes and tools.
• Make sure everything is properly tested and controlled before it goes from testing into real production.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Policy and Product Governance team in Krakow or Wroclaw. We are responsible for End User Computing Governance, which is includes policies, tools, and controls for tools built in the business. We also work closely with Enterprise Architecture to design and implement firmwide architecture requirements.
Our influence is far reaching, touching every business, function, and geography in UBS.

Our basic requirements
We welcome applicants who have either already graduated from a recognized university or are in the final year (seventh semester) of their degree course at the start of the Program in July 2026.
For many of our technical roles, we do ask that you have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. No professional experience is necessary, but a computer science or computer engineering-related educational background is required.

Your expertise

Your experience and skills:
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to work through complex problems where requirements are not always fully defined.
• Demonstrated interest in AI‑enabled solutions, with motivation to apply AI and automation to improve processes, insight, or decision support.
• Knowledge in process design
• Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerBI
• Excellent English (written and oral)

Nice to have:
• Writing and modifying scripts for data processing, validation, or automation, foundational use of Python in AI or intelligent solutions (e.g. data analysis, prototyping AI use cases, working with AI/ML libraries or APIs at a basic level)
