UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Tech Support Specialist in Nashville, TN

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Tech Support Specialist to:
• Support and monitor various business/IT applications, batch jobs and infrastructure components as part of an application support team providing coverage from multiple regions.
• Analyze recurring failures and events as part of continuous service improvement and eliminate top demands. Conduct and manage special events such as disaster recovery tests, infrastructure change weekends, data center maintenance, and special event days.
• Convert manual tasks, intervention, and operations into automation requirements and specifications. Perform timely incident resolution including incident investigation, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Participate in post-mortem activities for any breaks in system availability, helping to capture and track tasks to both analyze incidents and implement preventative measures to prevent repeat occurrences.
• Assist with release planning and week-end support for production deployment and patching activities.Onboard new applications ensuring new projects are implemented in line with current standards.
• Partner internally to proactively improve application serviceability, reliability and scalability of existing and new IT products and services.Maintain knowledge database, review, and amend technical documentation such as support and disaster recovery procedures to ensure that they are kept up to date.
• Resolve batch problems and help identify opportunities to optimize processing. Make sure all relevant metrics for server performance and capacity are available.
• Use metrics to maintain and enhance system performance. Work closely with the vendor and key stakeholders to plan for cost optimized solutions, manage delivery, implementation, process improvement and production product support.
• Ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality standard. Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements.
• Can work hybrid (In-Office/Remote).

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Analyst, Technology Lead, Software Engineer, or a related occupation

The indicative gross base salary for this role is USD 119000 /annum in Nashville, TN.
