Your role

We’re looking for a senior quantitative analyst to play a key role in agency execution and analytics, combining quantitative depth with strong stakeholder and client engagement. You will:
• Take a senior role in the design, enhancement, and governance of agency execution algorithms and analytics.
• Lead advanced execution analysis across market regimes, translating results into clear, actionable insights for traders, sales, and clients.
• Act as a key quantitative contact for the region, helping shape priorities and ensure alignment between strategy, research, and delivery.
• Drive quantitative research and analysis underpinning broader platform wide changes, providing evidence based input into design decisions and prioritization of both quantitative and development work.
• Analyse client trading behaviour and execution outcomes to identify opportunities for performance improvement and differentiation.
• Provide execution consultancy and platform insight to clients, including explaining / presenting:
o Impact of proposed or delivered updates on execution behaviour and outcomes
o Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) results and execution performance drivers
o Algorithm behaviour, design choices, and trade offs
o The impact and rationale of material platform wide changes where relevant
• Support client reviews and bespoke analysis, working closely with Sales and Trading to ensure discussions are quantitatively grounded and consistent with platform capabilities.
• Partner with Electronic Trading, Product, and Technology to ensure quantitative insight informs both client engagement and platform evolution.

Your team

You’ll be part of the Algorithms and Analytics team within Agency Algorithmic Trading, responsible for execution algorithms, quantitative analysis, and execution consultancy across equities and other products globally.
In this role, you’ll operate as a senior member of the regional quant function, with significant exposure to internal leadership and external clients.

Your expertise

You have:
• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering).
• Strong experience in algorithmic trading or execution analytics, ideally within an agency execution or electronic trading environment.
• A proven ability to turn complex or ambiguous execution questions into structured analysis and clear conclusions.
• Experience working closely with trading, sales, and product stakeholders.
You are:
• Comfortable presenting quantitative insights to technical and non technical audiences, including clients.
• Able to explain model behaviour, performance drivers, and trade offs clearly.
• Proficient in Python (Java or C++ a plus), with strong data analysis skills - experience with KDB/q a significant plus
• Able to operate with a high degree of ownership, judgement, and accountability.
Nice to have:
• Prior exposure to client facing execution analytics or consultancy.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts and driving quantitative research.
