As a part of your team, you will
· Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and other modern programming languages
· Actively participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of distributed systems specific to trading and Foreign Exchange domain
· Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, peer code review, testing, debugging, and deployment
· Analyse root causes of incidents and provide resolution
· Learn how Foreign Exchange and global financial markets operate

Your team
You’ll be working in the FX Linear Client & Trading Applications team in Krakow/Wroclaw, which is part of a global FX Technology organization aligned to the Investment Bank. The team is working using agile principles and is responsible for building and maintaining applications that are an essential part of the FX trading technology stack. As a software engineer, you will play an important role in delivering business benefit while shaping the future of our technology stack.

Your expertise
We welcome applicants who have either already graduated from a recognized university or are in the final year (seventh semester) of their degree course at the start of the Program in August 2026.
For many of our technical roles, we do ask that you have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. No professional experience is necessary, but a computer science or computer engineering-related educational background is required.
Your experience and skills
· Strong foundation in Java programming with interest in Spring and Spring Boot
· Familiarity with Git and Linux operating system basics
· Interest in containers, Kubernetes and distributed system design and development principles
· Good communication skills, a proactive and structured work style, confident working autonomously
· Excellent English (written and oral)
