Your role
Are you passionate about equity markets? Are you into trading and keen to be part of a growing team that wants to win? Do you enjoy spreading your enthusiasm and sharing your knowledge with clients and those around you?
We are looking for someone like you to:
- generate revenue through the timely and accurate execution of trades/orders on an agency ("as agent") basis (generating commissions or sales credits), in US/European Cash Equity and Equity Derivatives (Listed) market
- proactively keep abreast of market developments and trading opportunities; have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
- maintain long term client relationships
- support APT Day desk and other domestic location units
- adhere to regulations and internal policies, including, but not limited to, quality of execution (examples: "best execution", "fair and reasonable"), pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
- manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk, etc., evaluating options and making decisions

Your team
You will be working in the Global Markets Advice Premium Trade team in Singapore covering Wealth Management clients and Family Offices.
Your expertise
- university degree or other recognized qualification
- minimum 7 years’ professional experience in Equity trading/execution (Cash & Derivatives OTC/Listed) in US/European market
- must have prior experience working/trading in US/European equity market; require to work US market hours [office hours begin at 6PM until 4/5AM (Summer/Winter)]
- outstanding relationship management capabilities with strong analytical, risk management, marketing, communication and interpersonal skills
- fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to support the local client base
- IT skills: Microsoft – Outlook, Word, Excel (Knowledge of Macro will be an advantage), Powerpoint
- qualifications or license(s) to perform the trading function, as required such as CACS
