Your role

Are you passionate about delivering robust and scalable robotic process automation solutions? Do you have a knack for understanding business processes and how we can optimize and improve through a combination of process re-engineering and technological changes? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in finding ways to innovate? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
• partner and collaborate with Operations experts and IT teams across the organization to deliver robotic process automation solutions in a dynamic environment
• analyze business requirements, design implementable technical solutions that leverage process automation technologies and development best practices
• perform integration testing of robot process automation solutions into larger subsystems and the extended automation system
• increase efficiencies by utilizing technology

Work alongside our team to identify and analyze business requirements and processes, identify potential automation opportunities, and propose and execute a plan of automation/digital transformation

Our COE team in F2B Digitization Organization help UBS business functions implement their digital strategy and accomplish their ambitions in the areas of emerging technologies like RPA, OCR, Machine learning Models, Advanced Analytics, Cognitive Automation.
The COE team is at the intersection of business, technology, and innovative thinking. We accompany functions across all businesses to build a sustainable transformation, combining the power of emerging technologies with a profound understanding of UBS businesses. The team works in in close collaboration with the different functions, business divisions to achieve its goals.

Your expertise

• Ideally 2-3 years of automation and consulting experience with a prominent or boutique consulting firm, maintaining a focus on business analysis in the area of digital transformation and new technologies.
• Strong analytical background, attention to detail along with structured organization and planning skills. Engage in discovery and identification of automation processes; proactively seek and suggest improvements, and outline any risks and recommend optimal solutions
• A strong written and verbal communicator, able to adapt and network across a global organization to work well with the team and to present well to stakeholders.
• Highly driven and motivated with a can-do attitude and eager to learn and to solve complex problems.
• Knowledge and hands on working experience in one or more of the following areas: RPA, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cognitive Automation.
• Experience in any of these tools is a plus: Automation Anywhere, Alteryx, Tableau, Workfusion, re:infer, Python.
• Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
• Professional experience within Investment Banking would be a helpful asset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
• Knowledge of Python and VBA will be a strong asset
• Understand/exposed to a variety of software development approaches and Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in a team and/or be an effective individual contributor
• A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies
• Able to assess new ideas and provide implementable solutions
• Integrate automation workflows using RPA/Alteryx into existing business processes and business applications
Consider the use of other automation platforms and technologies which can be implemented as part of the digital transformation
• Analyze, design, build and test cloud based solutions
• Have experience with at least one of the three major cloud providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Flynn and Google Cloud Platform.
