We're looking for a Quant Analyst to:
– design, develop, and implement Lombard Lending models for both banking and trading book
– perform quantitative assessments and develop model prototypes
– implement analytics for integration in productive IT applications including modern testing frameworks
– interact with Front Office and Risk Function stakeholders to ensure that these models are fit for purpose
– ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies

Your team
You will be working in the Stress Loss and Risk Monitoring team within the Lombard Lending Models in Krakow or Wroclaw as part of the group-wide Quantitative Risk Methodology department. We develop and maintain the stress loss measurements for the Global Wealth Management clients. The quantitative methods we use are based on econometrics and mathematical finance techniques.
Your expertise
– experience in quantitative modelling or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the demand of this function
– strong analytical skills and the ability to apply techniques from numerical analysis, statistics, and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
– strong software development skills, preferably in Python or C#
– strong written and spoken communication skills in English and the ability to transparently document results
– working experience within the finance sector, preferably with exposure to derivative valuation and model development governance is a plus
– self-driven, organized and detail-oriented with a solid understanding of banking industry
– MS or PhD degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or engineering
