Your role
We are looking for an Analyst responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of transactions and events. This includes booking, pre matching, settlement, filing, archiving, and handling internal and external queries.
The role also covers transaction and position reconciliations and may include cash management, payment activities, and the resolution of client service issues.
Key Responsibilities/ As an Analyst, you will be expected to:
• Execute assigned processes and controls in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
• Perform preparatory work, transaction processing, control checks, and reconciliation tasks
• Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements, as well as internal policies and contractual obligations
• Identify, understand, and manage the risks associated with your business and function
• Collaborate across teams and functions to deliver the most effective solutions and courses of action

Your team
You will be working in UBS Securities, Seoul Branch – Investment Bank Operations.
The team is responsible for the day to day settlement activities of the local broking business in Korea, covering all product lines managed by the Korean Operations Team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Managing new account openings and account reactivations
• Reconciling daily execution details between the local ledger system and global allocation files, and investigating discrepancies
• Pre matching trades with local custodian banks and reporting matching status to Front Office (FO) and regional Client Service teams
• Monitoring intraday settlement status and following up on settlement issues
• Handling internal and external client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Driving system enhancements, automation initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to improve operational efficiency and support regulatory changes
Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• 1–3 years of equity settlement experience, with exposure to KRX, KSD, KSFC and Koscom ( Powerbase , KOSMOS Neo)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; VBA (macro) skills are an advantage
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think logically, flexibly, and creatively
• Interest in digitalization and automation, with a strong affinity for technology and process improvement
