Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically in Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) Business Control Assurance team, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world's top financial institutions? We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) Business Control Assurance business.

You’ll get to:

• participate in and successfully complete all required training, and help carry out Operating Effectiveness (OE) testing in accordance with the defined testing approach

• attend weekly/monthly progress meetings and contribute to discussions around control issues and failures

• address Quality Assurance (QA) review points promptly, maintain regular updates in the testing tracker, and ensure timely closure of all observations

• support by escalating any potential testing issues or exceptions to the appropriate teams

Your team

You’ll be working in C&ORC Business Control Assurance team in Pune or Mumbai, India. C&ORC Business Control Assurance is part of the Group Compliance and Regulatory Governance (GCRG) function that provides an independent assessment of the design, operating effectiveness of SOX controls, testing SOX controls and works with complex structures and operating layers within UBS.

• has good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products

• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
