Your role
As a member of the Private Funds Group (PFG), within Global Banking, the EMEA Secondary Advisory product team partner with Sector and Country coverage teams to execute a full suite of GP-led liquidity solutions for financial sponsor clients. The market-leading group is also integrated within a best-in-class primary placement business offering deep investor connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including:
o Asset-level LBO analyses
o Fund and Continuation vehicle waterfalls
o Sensitivity analyses and return benchmarking
• Work alongside coverage teams to assist in valuation analysis across multiple methodologies (for e.g. trading comparable and precedent transactions) including a review of the sponsor case underwriting
•Prepare marketing materials, including pitch presentations, information memoranda, financial analyses and investor materials
•Support management of due diligence processes, data room coordination and investor Q&A
•Conduct secondary investor universe mapping across European and global secondary buyers
•Coordinate with commercial, financial, legal, tax and structuring advisors across multiple jurisdictions

Your team
The team primarily advises leading private capital sponsors (across buyout, growth/venture and infrastructure) on GP-led secondary transactions including continuation fund transactions, strip sales, tender offers and preferred equity financings. The group also has a longstanding track record advising Limited Partners on their liquidity needs, including through concentrated single line sales, portfolio sales and other structured solutions.
Your expertise
•Relevant full-time or internship experience in - Investment Banking (M&A, Sponsors, Sector or Country Coverage preferred), or Secondary advisory or secondary investing
•technical and financial modelling skills
•Understanding of private equity structures, carried interest mechanics, and LP/GP alignment considerations
•Exposure to GP-led secondary transactions is advantageous
•Fluency in English required; additional European languages are advantageous
•Demonstrated ability to operate in a high-performance, transaction-oriented environment
