Do you have a desire to break into Advisory Sales within Global Markets? Are you a target driven individual? Do you know how to come up with innovative solutions for clients?
We're looking for a junior Markets Salesperson to:
• provide sales backup to the Multi Product Sales team in New York – the role will be 5 days/week on the New York trading desk
• work closely with the teams on analyst marketing schedules, company roadshows, capital markets transactions and client engagement events
• provide business expense support and timely submission of team expenses
• support internal projects and distribution initiatives
• role will be a stepping-stone toward a long career in Markets Sales, with the progression being based on the individual’s development in Global Markets, Cross Product, team support and client relationships
• work with AI driven sales technology to find efficiencies around the client coverage process

Your team
You’ll be joining a strong franchise working on the Multi Product Sales team in New York, with additional support being provided to the regions. We provide Cross-Markets client coverage with a focus on our Equity Advisory Platform. As an Advisory sales assistant you’ll play a vital role in growing and broadening firm to firm relationships with key institutional clients primarily in New York and also in the regions.
Your expertise
• ideally 1-2 years of experience with a preference for client facing roles
• working knowledge of financial markets, instruments and strategies
• adept communicator and collaborator, able to adapt style to audience
• a passion for following market developments and understanding both current and anticipated trends
• driven, with ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with a consistently professional manner
• fluent in English to support local client base

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 90000 - max USD 107500 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
