Do you want to become an expert in corporate performance and valuation? Do you have a strong interest in analyzing companies and generating unique insights?
We’re looking for someone who can:
• combine industry and market knowledge with the UBS HOLT framework to generate and market actionable investment insights to clients
• utilize modelling, valuation, and analytical skills to provide clients with investment insights and/or idea generation
• develop expertise in financial statement analysis and accounting adjustments to eliminate accounting distortions and maintain the quality of the HOLT framework
• build and maintain a client network through client meetings and bespoke projects

Your team
You’ll be working on the HOLT Sector Specialist team within Equity Research in New York. We provide market-leading insights, investment solutions and services to buy-side equities portfolio managers and analysts. UBS HOLT is the industry leader in understanding the corporate performance and valuation of equities with a strong client franchise and brand recognition across major institutional investors, hedge funds and wealth managers.
Your expertise
• degree in Finance or Accounting related disciplines and/or holding or pursuing professional certifications such as CFA or CPA
• ideally 1+ year of experience in Equity Research, Public Accounting, Investing Banking, or working as a Financial Analyst
• passion for equity markets and a strong understanding of valuation and corporate performance
• excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, inquisitive, organized, and able to work in a time sensitive environment and independently
• adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
• strong team orientation, with the ability to collaborate effectively across analysts, sectors, and functions in a highly collaborative environment
• experience with Python and SQL a plus, but not required

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 98750 - max USD 116250 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
