Your role

Are you detail-oriented and risk aware? Do you have trading experience and a desire to develop as an institutional trader within a global asset manager?

We are looking for an Execution Trader to join our UBS Asset Management Taiwan business. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, approving and executing FX trades for our Taiwan domiciled Fixed Income and Multi Asset portfolios. You will work closely with onshore and offshore portfolio managers and senior traders to deliver high‑quality execution and strong client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurate and timely execution of trades
• Compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory requirements and risk controls
• Effective breach detection, escalation, and remediation
• Clear and well-documented audit trail of decisions and trade activities
• Ability to coordinate across portfolio managers, operations and middle/back office teams

Your team

You will be part of the UBS Asset Management APAC trading team, responsible for delivering execution across a diverse set of investment strategies. The team works closely with portfolio managers, investment specialists, operations and risk functions, fostering a collaborative, control‑focused environment with a strong emphasis on discipline and client outcomes.

Your expertise

• Prior equities trading experience in similar role
• Foundational knowledge of finance
• Comfortable working with various stakeholders in onshore and offshore locations.
• High level of attention to detail with a strong risk and controls mindset
• Self-motivated, with an ability to perform well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; CFA designation will be an asset
