Your role
Would you like to serve as the primary client-facing representative of the Partnership Solutions business? Are you keen to collaborate with Client Coverage to consult with clients and prospects to understand their unique investment objectives and challenges? As the strategist, leveraging your knowledge of the UBS AM capability set across investments, analytics and digital solutions, you will take the lead in coordinating with Client Consulting and internal subject matter experts to design and implement a solution customized to the client’s specific requirements and preferences. Beyond supporting new business development opportunities and servicing existing clients, the strategist also raises awareness of Partnership Solutions and its value proposition internally and in the public domain via the creation of investment content in marketing materials and participation in webinars, investment calls and other client-related events. It represents the first and most important opportunity Partnership Solutions has to persuade a prospect we are their partner of choice based on the Solutions Strategist’s ability to convey successfully:
• an appreciation and understanding of the client’s specific requirements
• the depth, breadth, quality and relevance of the resources available to them via a partnership with UBS
• the ability to craft a competitively priced solution that addresses their actual needs with the greatest likelihood of success.
In this role you will:
• partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify, originate, and develop new business opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline
• lead the end‑to‑end client prospecting and acquisition process, from initial consultation and needs analysis through proposal development, pricing, contracting, and onboarding and implementation
• act as the central point of coordination between client coverage, investment teams, group operations and technology, and internal subject‑matter experts
• design, pitch, and represent customised investment solutions across traditional and alternative asset classes and strategies, delivered via advisory or discretionary mandates
• develop and maintain deep expertise across UBS Asset Management’s investment capabilities, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction and structuring, manager research and selection, and risk frameworks and quantitative methodologies
• contribute to the creation of high‑quality investment content for proposals, client presentations, marketing materials, and thought leadership
• represent UBS Partnership Solutions internally and externally through client meetings, roadshows, webinars, and investment forums.

You'll be working in the the Solutions Strategist team within the Partnership Solutions business in London. This role offers high visibility across UBS Asset Management and the broader firm; exposure to a broad array clients; the opportunity to shape client outcomes and contribute to the growth and direction of a strategically-important business area.
Your expertise
• solid experience in either OCIO, multi-asset portfolio management, investment consulting, client portfolio management, or other relevant investment roles
• proficiency with respect to investment policy design, capital market research, portfolio construction, and quantitative methods
• experience working across multiple client segments and investment solutions e.g. retirement solutions, MPS, insurance, family offices, wealth management
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with subject matters experts / stakeholders both within and across UBS business lines and divisions
• proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with clients and prospects
• track record of contributing to successful commercial and investment outcomes
• intellectual curiosity, and strong attention to detail
• ability to work in a deadline-driven, high-performance culture
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
Desirable
• Professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, and or FRM
• Experience incorporating AI into workflows
• Coding and application development
• Experience in project management
• Experience in managing and representing private market strategies
