Your role

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger
• Ensure integrity of financial ledger through monthly balance sheet substantiation process and accurate processing of adjustments and Investigation of feed issues
• Analyze financial information through management pack for insights and explain material balances and/or differences to support decision making
• Assist team in the regulatory reporting process
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timelines relating to statutory filing are adhered to
• Address queries from stakeholders
• Drive improvements in controls and achieve efficiency through digital tools

Your team

You’ll be joining the APAC Entity Controller and Regulatory Reporting team in Pune. This team is supporting the regional financial close and regulatory reporting, with significant interaction with onshore stakeholders and multiple teams including Country Controller, Business Managers, Group Treasury, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations, Auditors and other Finance functions.

Your expertise

– an intern pursuing Chartered Accountancy with preferably university degree in accountancy, finance or business, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
– a keen interest in financial markets and digitization
– strong analytical skills
– a self-starter
– methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
– fluent in English
