Your role
Are you highly motivated person possessing strong accounting fundamentals and a good understanding of accounting standards and GAAP principles? Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in legal entity accounting, financial reporting, month-end close activities, regulatory and statutory reporting processes, and financial controls?
We are looking for CA Industrial Trainee to:
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
• Assist in preparation and review of legal entity financial statements and disclosures.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation of key accounts.
• Support accounting entries, adjustments, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Analyze profit & loss and balance sheet movements and provide variance commentary.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, and internal accounting policies.
• Participate in intercompany reconciliation and investigation of accounting differences.
• Support audit requests and preparation of audit documentation.
• Assist with regulatory, statutory, and management reporting deliverables.
• Perform financial data analysis and reporting using Excel and reporting tools.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and control enhancements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Operations, Treasury, Risk, and Business teams.

Your expertise
• CA Industrial Trainee eligible as per ICAI regulations.
• Strong academic record in CA Intermediate / Articleship.
• Good understanding of:
1) Accounting principles
2) IFRS and/or Local GAAP
3) Financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
4) Accounting controls and reconciliations
5) Journal entries and month-end close processes
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of legal entity accounting and financial reporting.
• Exposure to statutory audit or financial reporting during articleship.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
• Understanding of financial services or banking products is preferred.
