Your role

We’re looking for a client advisor assistant to:

• support client advisors in delivering exceptional client service and experience
• be point-of-entry contact for clients with account queries or orders, stock orders, pledge repo, etc.
• assist with account opening and closing, onboarding, suitability reviews, KYC, due diligence and monitoring activities
• research, follow-up on client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, and internal partners in a timely and professional manner
• support client advisors in administrative, risk and legal and compliance related tasks and duties
• support client advisors when they are on business trips and assist in preparing client meetings
• join client advisors occasionally in client meetings

Your team

You’ll be working in the UBSS GWM in Shanghai. You'll play an important role in our delivery of bespoke client services and become a trusted client account manager for UHNW/HNW clients. You’ll be part of the client coverage team and closely collaborate with client advisors. Our combined efforts help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients, through strong partnership at every stage of their journey

Your expertise

• financial services experience, ideally within a client facing team or other relevant commercial experience within the financial services industry
• effective relationship management skills, able to show situational awareness and initiative to self-challenge and/or challenge others
• able to utilize tools and resources to service clients as efficiently as possible
• sound judgement and problem-solving skills with a proactive style that delivers timely results
• superior written and oral communications skills including the ability to deliver difficult messages, complex ideas and client issues with confidence
• confident, motivated and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
