Key responsibilities

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join the Investment Bank Group Operations team in Seoul. You will support the day-to-day settlement activities of the Korean brokerage business while contributing to process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational excellence.

As an Operations Analyst, you will:

- execute operational processes and controls accurately and within deadlines
- perform transaction processing, reconciliations, settlement monitoring, and exception management
- monitor trade settlement and investigate discrepancies
- support account opening and maintenance activities
- handle internal and external client queries in a timely and professional manner
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- collaborate with Front Office, Client Service, and Operations teams to resolve operational issues
- support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and UAT activities
- support testing and implementation of process or regulatory changes as required

The team

You will be working in UBS Securities, Seoul Branch – Group Operations.
The team is responsible for supporting the settlement lifecycle of the Korean brokerage business, including (not limited to) trade matching, settlement monitoring, reconciliations, account maintenance, and client servicing.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• 1–3 years of experience in equity operations, trade settlement, or financial services operations
• Knowledge of equity settlement processes preferred
• Advanced Excel skills: .VBA or automation experience is an advantage
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively under deadlines
• Interest in digitalization, automation, and process improvement
