We’re looking for a new teammate with exceptional AI skills to help advance our Equity Derivatives platform. In this role, you will:
• architect and deliver our new global equity options RFQ, auto-pricing and electronic trading platform
• work alongside business users to translate complex business and regulatory requirements, manual processes and trading flows into innovative, automated solutions
• leverage AI to further automate business flows and deliver next-generation analytics and signals into the platform
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices to ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of our solutions, focusing on both functional and non-functional needs
• work closely with the global team to evolve the platform, build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents and remediate the root causes of risks and issues
• share AI, technical and domain knowledge with the team, mentor colleagues, support hiring and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

The team
You’ll work in the Principal Algorithmic Trading Equity Derivatives crew. You will be part of a global development team, working closely with the front office to build and support user-facing sales and trading applications.
Your skills and experience
• mandatory 5+ years’ experience in the Equity Derivatives asset class
• excellent Java software development skills, ideally with exposure to real-time, low-latency pricing systems
• hands-on technical expertise with demonstrable AI experience across software engineering, automation, analytics or trading workflows
• take an automated approach to testing to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions
• experience establishing and exploiting DevOps capabilities
• a strong communicator with experience working in a front-office environment, facing off to the business and picking up business knowledge at every opportunity
• experience playing a full part in a close-knit team environment
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 225000 - max USD 242500 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
