Key responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Control Manager to lead profit and loss reporting, balance sheet controls, and strategic process improvements for Global Equity Derivatives products.
• lead the daily profit and loss production and validation process, providing analysis of key drivers, risk-based commentary, and escalation of issues where required
• partner with Trading and Market Risk to review and challenge profit and loss attribution, validate outcomes, and provide meaningful business insights
• oversee month-end close activities, including journal governance, adjustments, balance sheet substantiation, reconciliations, reserves, and break resolution
• maintain a robust control framework through effective controls, documented processes, issue remediation, audit readiness, and adherence to internal policies
• lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, supporting performance management, capacity planning, and professional development
• drive automation and process improvement initiatives using Alteryx, Python, Power BI, SAP, and AI-enabled technologies to enhance efficiency, controls, and management information

The team
You’ll be joining the Global Equity Derivatives AMER Product Control team in Pune. The team is responsible for daily profit and loss production and control across a broad range of derivative products, including Options, Futures, Collars, and Structured Notes. Working closely with Trading, Risk, Technology, and Finance teams, the function plays a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining a strong control environment, and supporting business decision-making. We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion strengthen our business and create better outcomes for our clients and employees.
Your skills and experience
• 6 to 8 years of experience in Product Control or Profit and Loss Control, ideally within Equities or a related traded products environment
• proven experience leading teams and successfully managing change in a complex, fast-paced organisation
• strong understanding of Equities products, their lifecycle, and associated profit and loss, valuation, and control processes
• working knowledge of SAP, including finance posting, close, and reconciliation processes
• strong automation and analytics skills with experience using Alteryx, Python, and Power BI, either hands-on or through leading technology delivery initiatives
• excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and engage senior Front Office and Finance stakeholders
• strong control mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
• strong digital mindset with hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar AI tools; experience applying emerging technologies to improve processes and controls is highly desirable
