Description
United Airlines is seeking an innovative and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our core customer technology platforms, including Crew Records, Pay, and Training (CRPT) systems. This pivotal role will drive the transformation of our CRPT capabilities, aligning them with industry trends and shaping an industry-leading platform. The ideal candidate will spearhead product development, manage roadmaps, and guide a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts. This position offers a unique opportunity to reimagine and modernize critical airline systems, setting the foundation for United's technological future.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Management
- Define and execute product strategy for CRPT systems
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps
- Collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders
- Establish and track product KPIs and financial metrics
Innovation Leadership
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends
- Participate in key industry forums as United's advocate
- Drive the innovation agenda for CRPT products
Strategic Project Delivery
- Oversee business case development for major initiatives
- Manage scope and delivery roadmaps

Customer and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Act as a strategic partner to internal customers
- Align product strategy with customer needs

Utilize advanced tools like Journey Mapping and Event Storming
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Develop advanced testing methodologies
- Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation
- Drive data-informed product decisions
Organizational Leadership
Champion lean and agile product management practices
Drive strategic alignment within the Crew Records department
Navigate complex organizational challenges
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business or related field.
- 7+ years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management
- 2+years Agile/Scrum experience
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Translate business strategy into product strategy and product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
- Prioritizing product features and communicating the reason behind this to the stakeholders
- Scope activities based on business and customer impact
- Own the product roadmap
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Expert knowledge of product management, business case development and business analysis
- Proven skills in project planning, roadmap development and detailed status reporting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $137,275.00 to $178,670.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
