Job overview and responsibilities
Program Managers Heavy Maintenance are leader within OSV who serve either as direct oversight of scheduled / unscheduled maintenance or indirect support through leadership of a team. This role requires a front-line leader who is proficient in aircraft maintenance while also prioritizing healthy relationships with interfacing departments. Leadership of a team will be determined by need for coverage and leadership assignment. Program Managers collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a safe, compliant, and predictable product to the operation while ensuring deliverables meet contractual needs. Agility, resilience, and professionalism are key attributes for this role meshed with exacting standards for performance, partnership, and integrity. Achieving predictable results directly or through charge of a team in accordance with United Airline’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) while executing against schedule and budgetary forecast is paramount.

Operational schedule/onsite at facilities required: 50-100%
- Direct oversight of safety, quality, & compliance IAW UAL CAMP, GMM, & other regulatory Documents
- Direct oversight of performance & flow execution within accepted commitments to airline
- Assist in review of span & pricing agreements at induction & exit of visits
- Act as UAL central interfacing point for stakeholder groups to maintain production flow
- Act of stand-in for L5 or L3 levels based on assignment and need
- Special projects as assigned to improve, standardize, & share best practices
- Ensure accurate & timely reporting accomplished as directed by SOP & OSV initiatives
- Oversee & implement UAL OSV SMS toolsets, championing continuous improvement & standardization
- Administer contractual guidance in all facets of oversight & billing compliance
- Review & approve visit invoicing IAW established pricing & trend data - resolve disputes
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation experience
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Minimum of 7 years overall aviation industry experience
- Minimum of 4 years supervisory and project management experience in aviation related fields
- Aircraft heavy maintenance, project / program management
- Aircraft maintenance management
- Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners
- Proven organization and leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships - flexing between teammate and leadership roles
- Ability to partner in a variable and complex environment achieving predictable results, partnership and relationship building along the way
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
