From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. Job overview and responsibilities

Aeronautical Data Analysis is a critical component in supporting the worldwide daily operation and future flight schedules and requires communication between internal and external agencies to ensure mission success.The Data Analyst is an integral component of the Dispatch team and acts as the central point of contact for review, monitoring, and extraction of pertinent Aviation Aeronautical data for Dispatch related to Aeronautical Publications, Circulars, Supplements, NOTAMs, and Aeronautical Flight Publications.

The position supports Dispatch, Flight Operations, and the NOC. The position performs operational data extraction from numerous data sources and assists in the maintenance of sophisticated flight planning tools, airport, aircraft, MEL databases to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policy ensuring all flights can be performed safely, efficiently, and according to their mission timelines.
The Aeronautical Data Analysis is also responsible for the generation and provision of Aeronautical briefings and ensures Dispatch staff is fully apprised of the relevant aeronautical changes.

• Review, extraction, and processing of airport data and capabilities review

• Database audit and maintenance
• Disseminate daily progress reports and weekly Regional/Station calls/review
• Assistance to Staff Chiefs and Chiefs
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Staff Representative – Aeronautical Services or Sr. Manager Flight Dispatch Operations

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree
• Airport operations work experience
• 2 years in data analytics or related course work
• In-dept knowledge and understanding of aeronautical data, airport and airspace systems to support world wide operations, charter operations and dispatch operations
• Must be detailed oriented with expertise in effectively reviewing and extracting relevant aeronautical data and aviation information
• Strong business and data analysis skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Assist Senior Manager Dispatch Operations and/or as directed
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

• BA or Airport or Dispatch Operations / or 2 years relevant work experience / Computer Science
• FAA Dispatcher’s license preferred
• Other FAA or Foreign State issued Airman’s certificate may be acceptable
• Knowledge of the airport operations and processes
• Working knowledge of flight dispatch and aircraft operations
• Proficient in MS Office and web based applications
