As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in partnering with business and technology leaders to design, develop, and scale AI and ML-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact. This role requires strong analytical depth, technical expertise, and the ability to independently lead complex initiatives from problem framing through deployment
Job overview and responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, from problem definition and data exploration to model development and deployment
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable analytical and AI-driven solutions
• Design and implement descriptive, predictive, and optimization models to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer engagement
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, automated reporting frameworks, and executive-level dashboards
• Own key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in analytics and AI development
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models and integrate solutions into enterprise systems
• Drive innovation by leveraging advanced ML techniques and emerging AI/LLM capabilities
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Aviation, or a related STEM field
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or advanced analytical roles
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience designing efficient data models and complex queries
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying predictive and machine learning models in production environments
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Experience designing and automating dashboards using tools such as Power BI or similar visualization platforms
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required
• Legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in a quantitative field like Math, Statistics and/or MBA preferred
- Experience in Digital Marketing / Campaign Analytics will be preferred
- Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with very large sets of data, pulling in relevant team members to address identified – and sometimes undiscovered – needs Hands-on knowledge in either predictive modeling or in setting up business intelligence solutions
- Strong knowledge of either SAS, R or Python ; Basic programming skills for web scraping and experience of working with non-structured data will be a plus
