Job overview and responsibilities


The Sr. Analyst - Safety Data is responsible for the comprehensive analysis of all Inflight safety related data; including but not limited to; lost time injuries, OSHA Recordable injuries, flight attendant safety reports, divisional audits, passenger incidents, and other ad-hoc data or reports. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will calibrate and routinely meet with a team of data analysts who report to a vendor partner. Leverage available data to provide Infight leadership with a picture of current and proactive needs to mitigate risk and provide a safe work environment for divisional employees. This is a hybrid position (T-TH in the office)

  • Completes comprehensive analysis across numerous data sources, summarizes information, identifies, escalates, and presents trends to Inflight leaders
  • Develops and maintains data technology tools to enhance tracking of safety performance and reporting
  • Serves as a liaison to the Inflight Base Management Team for injury tracking and reporting
  • Routinely meets with and calibrates vendor partner analysts who read, taxonomize, and provide notification of flight attendant safety reports

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-2+ years’ experience conducting complex analysis
  • OSHA policies and reporting
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Presentation skills in front of large audiences
  • Strong skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Complex problem solving through independent critical thinking
  • Data driven
  • Strong experience building dashboards
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
