Description
Technical Operations
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
This role is at NRT airport.
Job overview and responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance work, including servicing, repair, and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
- Required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority
- Demonstrate initiative and leadership to other mechanics
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate required
- Must hold valid Aircraft Maintenance Certificate (JCAB, EASA)
Must hold a motor vehicle driver's license (manual shift)
- Must be fluent in English and Japanesse (written and spoken)
- Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday
- Must be legally authorized to work in Japan for any employer without sponsorship
- Must hol Japanese permanent residency or citizenship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
- Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
Preferred
- Valid FAA A&P License
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance with large airplanes
