Job overview and responsibilities
The Field Services L5 Senior Support Engineer in IKC, India is responsible for keeping the local technology environment stable, secure, and running smoothly for more than 1,300 employees. This role acts as the senior technical lead on site, handling complex issues, supporting large refresh efforts, and stepping in when escalations require deeper expertise. It provides day-to-day direction to the support team while ensuring break/fix, asset management, logistics, and compliance processes stay on track. At its core, the role exists to protect uptime, reduce operational risk, and make sure the business can operate without technology disruption.
- Lead day-to-day field support operations, providing direction and oversight to onsite contractors and support engineers while ensuring all service requests and incidents are delivered within SLA targets
- Support asset lifecycle management, maintaining accurate inventory, hardware tracking, recycling compliance, and adherence to corporate governance requirements
- Oversee site logistics coordination, managing the intake, staging, deployment, and return of IT equipment to support operational continuity and SLA performance
- Proactively identify trends, addressing root causes, and strengthening overall service performance to consistently meet or exceed SLA commitments
- Partner closely with the FSD Principal Engineer to align site operations with enterprise standards, architectural guidance, and long-term technical strategy
- Support end-user device refresh programs, operating system upgrades, and site-wide technology deployments, executing within agreed timelines and service standards
- Lead asset disposition and recycling governance, ensuring secure data destruction, environmentally compliant recycling practices, accurate decommission tracking, and full alignment with corporate security and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- An Associates degree preferably in Information Technology or equivalent (DT) Digital Technology experience, Completed apprenticeship, or certification, in Low Voltage Communications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Aptitude for problem solving, looking beyond the obvious and not stopping at the first answer
- Strong level of poise in high pressure environments
- Active commitment to self-development
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
