Description

The Analyst - Inflight Scheduling Performance and Analysis will support the Inflight Resource Planning and Scheduling teams by gathering data and conducting analyses related to Inflight Crew Staffing and Operations Performance . The Analyst position focus areas include but are not limited to: Identifying and developing process improvement opportunities, supporting the data analytics development for the organization, and providing data driven business insights related to crew productivity, scheduler efficiencies, ops reliability, reserve crew utilization, strategic initiatives, and potential changes to labor agreements. The Analyst owns the development & regular maintenance of reports and dashboards, will be expected to interact with all levels in the organization, seek out opportunities for process improvement, have strong technical and analytical background and be able to deliver results with limited supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build visual presentations, dashboards, tools and reports for Inflight leadership, frontline management, and individual business teams throughout the organization
• Apply statistical techniques and relevant concepts to generate actionable insights driving business performance
• Create and continuously improve operational reports and analyses as needed; own the report structure and metrics in order to clearly and effectively communicate relevant information to decisionmakers
• Support Inflight leadership with analytics and reporting on day-to-day as well as monthly functions; perform ad hoc data mining and analysis
• Automate existing manual reports and processes to improve department throughout

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in a quantitative discipline like Applied Mathematics, Statistics
• 1.5 to 3 yrs of experience

• Master's degree
