Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops employee schedules and manages shift bids by function, producing final schedules for crew scheduling operations within designated systems, including Time Off, Training, and Meetings
  • Responsible for the development of short term and long-range plans, guiding strategic crew staffing for Inflight
  • Tasked with meeting and reporting monthly and annual crew productivity, reliability and cost targets
  • Completes cost analysis assignments for decision support and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Will leverage large data systems, EDW, Foundry, Inflight Records and will become Subject Matter Expertise with these systems
  • Identify trends, complete analysis to optimize base shift structure, and schedule line development as well as other programs
  • Ongoing analysis of operating procedures, developing strategic plans
  • Responding to ad hoc work/study requests from Division or Base Leadership

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of proven experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working in an analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations to peers, Flight Attendants, Crew Schedulers, FAST, Base leadership and Inflight leadership
  • Project management, presentation and analytical skills are essential
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of airline experience in Scheduling or Planning
  • Working knowledge of crew resource systems (preferably Cosmos)
  • Experience using Think-cell
  • Experience with CCS Administration or Inflight records


The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
