Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst, Flight Standards Quality Control, is responsible for advancing the effectiveness, consistency, and integrity of pilot training and evaluation programs through data-driven insights, analytics, and operational performance monitoring. This role partners closely with Flight Standards leadership, Training organization stakeholders, Quality Check Pilots, and Instructors to transform complex operational and training data into actionable intelligence that supports continuous improvement, enhances training outcomes, and enables informed decision-making across Flight Operations. This position serves as a subject matter expert supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of analytics solutions, dashboards, reporting tools, and performance tracking frameworks that monitor quality metrics, operational trends, and risk indicators within pilot training programs. The Senior Analyst is responsible for developing scalable data products and automated reporting processes that improve operational visibility, support rater reliability and calibration initiatives, and enable proactive identification of performance concerns and opportunities for improvement. Through collaboration with cross-functional operational and technical teams, this role helps drive strategic initiatives focused on enhancing long-term program effectiveness, operational consistency, and safety performance within Flight Standards Quality Control.

  • Configure and maintain data models, reporting structures, and backend datasets that support Flight Standards Quality Control initiatives, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across operational and training environments. Translate analytical outputs into actionable insights and executive-level reporting that support operational decision-making.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, visualization tools, and automated reporting solutions used to monitor pilot training performance, operational trends, quality metrics, and program effectiveness across Flight Operations
  • Perform data extraction, validation, cleansing, and transformation activities across multiple operational and training data sources to support reporting, performance tracking, and analytical modeling efforts.
  • Analyze pilot training and operational performance data to identify trends, anomalies, risk indicators, and performance variability that may impact training quality, operational consistency, or safety outcomes. Support proactive decision-making through statistical analysis and performance monitoring techniques.
  • Partner with instructors, evaluators, Quality Check Pilots, and cross-functional operational stakeholders to support calibration consistency, quality standards alignment, and data-informed process improvements within Flight Standards Quality Control programs..
  • Support the development and implementation of scalable analytics frameworks, automated workflows, and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and long-term program effectiveness within Flight Standards Quality Control.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in business intelligence, logistics, visualization, and/or data analytics
  • 2 years working with complex data (data analytics, information science, data visualization or other relevant quantitative field)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Intermediate to Expert level SQL skills
  • Intermediate to expert level Power BI dashboarding experience (e.g. PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, etc...) to produce meaningful, elegant dashboards
  • Proficiency writing complex code using both traditional and modern technologies/languages (i.e.Python, HTML, Javascript, Power Automate, Spark Node, etc.) for queries, procedures, and final formatted reporting in an email format
  • Ability to study, understand, and support business and project management needs, then design a data/technology solution that connect business processes with quantifiable outcomes
  • Strong project execution and communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master's degree or 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Aviation-related, project/process, quality management, data analytics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, logistics, visualization, and/or data analytics preferred
  • Palantir Or Tibco Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Past experience deck building and presenting analytical data to senior management
  • Experience with Foundry/Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and hands-on experience working with massive data sets
  • Flight training, flight operations, project management, quality control
  • Proficiency in MS Project or other project management platform
  • Technical proficiency in data analytics

The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
