Job overview and responsibilities
The Analyst Inflight Services will be tasked with supporting the Senior Analyst team members to improve the systems involved with crew resources and flight attendants. This includes collaborating with team members to identify areas for enhancement and additional programming development. The analyst provides support on the requirements' development, user acceptance testing and implementation of defect fixes and new automation. The analyst should use experience and knowledge of existing systems to anticipate future enhancements. The analyst will assist the Senior Analyst and Manager with supporting materials for the preparation of executive presentations and communication on enhancements. Supports training related to rollout of new system functionality. Role works closely with IT team members on requirements development and follow through on projects. Contributes to testing efforts and other project work as needed.
- Requirements development, testing and implementation for crew scheduling systems and applications
- Responsible for assisting and contributing to the design, development and testing automation workflows across multiple functional areas
- Includes building technical documentation, overseeing programming deployment and post deployment support
- Helps drive and support process improvements and initiatives related to crew scheduling, crew planning, inflight administration and inflight
- Supports training and communication related to roll out of new system functionality
- Support management and follow up of projects across work groups from all stages
- Initiate crew solver runs and support the crew scheduling team with progress on programming defects and enhancements
- Complete additional responsibilities as needed in support of the team and other groups
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years equivalent or similar work experience
- 1-2 years inflight operational experience
- Knowledge of Inflight Operations, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrated project Management and time management skills managing multiple simultaneous projects
- Good data analysis skills
- Positive demeanor and ability to adapt to constantly evolving work environment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Must possess exceptional planning and organizational skills, along with strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite capability including Excel.
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years Inflight experience
- 2-3 years airline experience
- 1-2 years’ experience performing in an analytical role
- Strong Excel proficiency, data analysis, querying and modelling skills, leadership, communication, presentation development skills.
- Flight Attendant qualified
- Experience with the UA Foundry platform.
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
