Airport Operations
The Airport Operations department keeps operations at our airports running smoothly through planning, organization and supervision.
Job overview and responsibilities:
This internship program provides current university students with hands-on customer service experience. Interns will support airport operations at NRT Airport in Japan and work alongside full-time staff in real-time customer-facing environments. The program aims to cultivate a deeper understanding of airport service operations and quality customer service.

- Flight Disruption Handling

- Baggage Claim Area Support
- Baggage Irregularity Handling (Delay and Damaged Bag)
- Assistance for passengers with special needs
- Travel Ready assistance, documentation, VISA, ESTA/ETA etc.
- Handling inquiries, including in English
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
- Must be a university student
- Communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Customer service mindset
- Teamwork and adaptability
- Must be legally authorized to work in Japan for any employer without sponsorship
- Must have permanent residency in Japan
- Must be fluent in English - intermediate or higher (written and spoken)
- Must be fluent in Japanese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of the interview is required to meet the job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
