Description

Clubs & Lounges Job overview and responsibilities:

The Clubs & Lounges team oversees planning new clubs, determining club products and amenities, and marketing to our customers.

  • Provide support for the implementation of new projects, including coordinating with stakeholders, managing timelines, and facilitating communication between project teams and club management.
  • Collaborate with club management to minimize disruptions to club operations during construction and renovation projects.
  • Develop or update service standards, which may include service delivery assessment, metrics and reporting, industry benchmarking, and customer feedback
  • Develop and execute customer communication plans
  • Identify opportunities and develop test plans for new products and amenities in clubs

Job Posting: September 1 - September 15, 2026

No Direct Path: This internship is designed solely to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role will likely not be converted to a full-time position at United at the conclusion of the internship.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must be a current undergraduate student graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or other relevant experience
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and ensure attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; must be comfortable talking to and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
  • Confident in performing data analysis to arrive at insights and develop recommendations.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Qualifications

  • Position is based in Chicago, IL - must be able to relocate for internship duration
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and the ability to leverage AI effectively to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.


The starting rate for this role is $20.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
