Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients within State Government Medicaid
  • Analyzing business operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify problems and opportunities, proposing solutions to meet client needs
  • Provide project oversight from initial pitch to project delivery
  • Lead consultations and presentations with clients, ensuring timely completion of high-quality deliverables
  • Provide population health and Symmetry specific EBM Connect measures consulting services including driving conversations with our Medicaid customers around measure results
  • Provide consulting services in support of perinatal episodes of care
  • Provide consulting services in support of Medicaid related analytics dashboards


  • Dissect complex business problems
  • Conduct thorough market and competitive analyses
  • Develop strategic frameworks and propose actionable solutions
  • Interpret financial data
  • Perform statistical analysis
  • Utilize business intelligence tools
  • Conduct interviews and synthesize information
  • Articulate a clear vision
  • Project Management: Strategic planning, Effective communication, Team collaboration and ability to leverage Project Management tools
  • Work effectively with stakeholders (physicians, nurses, administrators, etc.) within State Medicaid organizations

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in State Government Medicaid consulting and leadership roles is typically
  • Proven solid problem-solving abilities, business planning expertise, and strategic thinking

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
