A Subject Matter expert will lead with the Supervisor a team of 20-25 team members of revenue cycle management operation along with complying with established productivity goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance and may be responsible for representing the OPTUM 360-QUEST area on operational excellence and improvement projects
  • Support training for process knowledge training to current and new associates
  • Prepare and review training/refreshers/help tools for the processes aligned to OPTUM 360-QUEST
  • Provide manual mail return expertise support and coach representatives
  • Analyze, identify trends and provide reports as necessary
  • Understand and clarify where errors happened or where they may continue to happen and potential permanent solution in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies
  • Solve routine problems on own
  • Work with supervisor to solve more complex problems
  • Partner with supervisor to support staff development initiatives
  • Provide insight of staff strengths, challenges on development process
  • Support/develop daily work plans and communicate progress of it in a prompt manner
  • Stimulate engagement and empower staff to meet productivity, quality and timeliness goals
  • Performs basic and specialty workflow and administrative tasks with minimal supervision
  • Collaborates with others to identify and solve moderate problems that promote efficiency and quality
  • Meets productivity, quality and timeliness goals
  • Makes fact- based decisions; uses sound judgment and applies business knowledge
  • Acts ethically; demonstrates integrity, complies with all laws, regulations and policies
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Productivity support will be required as needed by the business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • 1+ years of experience analyzing and solving bills, claims, or data entry environment
  • 1+ years of experience working in a production and quality environment
  • 1+ years of experience in Quest-BDE process
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Must be in compliance with current production and quality goals
  • Available to work (40 hours/week) Monday- Friday. Flexible to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am to 5:00pm AST) It may be necessary, given the business need, to work overtime or weekends
  • Proficient in verbal and written English skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training experience
  • Management experience
  • Inventory and audit management
  • Microsoft Power Point and Word proficiency
