The Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst role is primarily to support the Director of Finance and CFO regarding reporting and budgeting Revenue Cycle results for the Clinic. This individual will be reconciling the information from the Business Office and the information from the Operations team to understand what is happening and recommend options for improvement. Support the Operations teams and other department heads in developing both operational and capital budgets and working with them to improve their processes. Also, the Healthcare Business Analyst will assist in developing financial and strategic plans for the organization and work to develop possible solutions to improve income and manage expenses.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic that is consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards document. To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within
- Helps to formulate long term financial and strategic plans
- Works with department heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
- Reviews and prepares journal entries and facilitates other accounting functions as needed
- Acquires data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data bases / data systems
- Analyzes financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Utilizes BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
- Provides detailed analysis and commentary on departmental results
- Prepares business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Reviews existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Evaluates previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
- Communicates results and recommendations for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
- Provides insights around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability
- Supports data collection, analysis, and evaluation of business metrics to drive process improvement and ensure business success
- Participates in all phases of the Revenue Cycle for the Clinic
- Works collaboratively with all groups within The Corvallis Clinic
- Performs additional tasks and take on additional duties as assigned or needed

Required Qualifications:
- A combination of education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare analyst role with complex financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics

- Master of Business Administration degree and 2+ years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare analyst role with complex financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics
- Experience with analytical modeling and accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and techniques, as well as calculating budgets, cost analysis and reduction
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, RVU’s and contract analysis
- Proven significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management and providers
- Live in Oregon
