The Sr. Compliance Analyst, Federal Compliance and Reporting will assist in execution of equal employment opportunity/affirmative action (EEO/AA) regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives for the enterprise. The successful candidate will possess experience with equal employment and affirmative action compliance or similar fields. This role will analyze data for insights to assess the performance and effectiveness of UnitedHealth Group’s affirmative action program. The position will report to the Director, Federal Compliance and Reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of Affirmative Action Plans in coordination with key stakeholders and third-party vendor
- Conduct analyses for Affirmative Action Plans and federal and state EEO/AA regulatory reporting (i.e., EEO-1, VETS4212, California Pay Data Report, and NJ Employee Information Report Certificate)
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for portfolio of regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with the Director to create and deliver communications, presentations, trainings, and auditing of systems in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Collaborate with Sales, People Team and COEs (e.g., Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.) to collect employee data and information required to respond to government agencies and clients
- Coordinate responses for RFI/RFP requests from internal and external stakeholders on affirmative action compliance and EEO laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in related field (i.e., HR, Compliance, Legal, Audit)
- Experience completing federal and state EEO/AA regulatory reporting requirements (i.e., EEO-1, VETS4212, CA Pay Data Reporting, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
- Intermediate Excel (pivots, v-look ups, etc.) and PowerPoint skills
- Proven solid and persuasive communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Demonstrated effective, active listening, organizational and execution skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholders at all levels of the company including senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Compliance and regulatory, internal controls/audits, project management, or process improvement experience
- Experience collaborating across functions
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven excellent technical and analytical skills
- Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently, as well as collaboratively

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
