Positions in this function design, engineer, and manage the organization’s infrastructure and operational platforms. From a cloud services model, this includes services commonly thought of as IaaS and PaaS and their underlying foundational components. Additionally, this function also has responsibility for traditional enterprise infrastructure and operational platforms such as email, file transfer, and collaboration technologies, among others. This role must understand functional and non-functional requirements to ensure they can be achieved through system design and engineering to meet the needs of the customers. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop roadmaps for their respective technology portfolios, resolve cross-system and domain dependencies, ensure effective integration among the services offered to the end customer, and efficient usage of infrastructure and operational platforms. Monitor technological advancements and industry trends to influence company standards and ensure that solutions are continuously improved and maintained through product management practices, including recommendations to invest in a solution or retirement of redundant or out-of-date systems. Understand the interactions between systems, the applications and services hosted, and evaluate the impact of changes and additions. Perform analysis on existing systems to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, meet security requirements, and interoperable and maintainable technology portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design Azure solutions that align with strategic objectives
• Develop architectural designs and blueprints for Azure-based solutions, considering factors such as scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness
• Lead the implementation and deployment of Azure infrastructure and services, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards
• Design and implement Azure networking, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and VPN gateways
• Configure and manage Azure storage services, such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage, and Azure Disk Storage
• Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) and identity and access management solutions
• Define and enforce security and compliance measures for Azure resources and data
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, assisting with the integration of applications and services with Azure
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of Azure resources
• Automate processes and tasks using Azure automation tools and scripting languages
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Azure infrastructure and services, identifying areas for optimization and improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, updates, and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our organization
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members
• Analyzes and investigates
• Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar role, with a solid understanding of Azure services, architecture, and components
• Extensive experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and identity and access management solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and VPN gateways
• Proficiency in designing and implementing Azure storage solutions, including Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage, and Azure Disk Storage
• Solid understanding of security and compliance requirements for Azure resources and data
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, for automation and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
