Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, Development and Testing of APIs using SpringBoot, SpringCloud, GraphQL, and Kafka
  • Engineer telemetry solutions, building cloud deployment platforms, and working across fully automated stacks in a CI / CD ecosystem
  • Architecture, Design and Implement product features in collaboration with IT stakeholders
  • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
  • Engineer innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Implement best practices, quality, architecture and coding standards of the project
  • Ensure their team delivers value to customers
  • Guide their team with company values. Abide by all the project and company guidelines and standards and to ensure that even the team members are doing so
  • Reviewing the decisions, the team makes to ensure consistency and alignment with the vision
  • Work on constantly increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end
  • Lead the team successfully and set targets and expectations for the team
  • Be an individual contributor (very hands-on) as well as able to guide and mentor team members
  • Work on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the PM at project level
  • Create and implement risk mitigation processes and conduct security audits to determine weaknesses in applications
  • Maintaining the project technical vision clear for everyone, from beginning to end
  • Mentoring team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience full stack Java Development with focus on back end
  • 5+ years of experience writing API’s using core Java (utilizing frameworks like Spring Boot, etc.)
  • 5+ years with Agile DevOps delivery model experience
  • Experience in technical lead position and providing technical guidance to team
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with various frameworks (e.g. Splunk, ELK, etc.)
  • Experience with engineering platforms at scale in public and private clouds
  • Experience working across fully automated stacks in a CI/CD ecosystem
  • Experience in Cloud engineering technologies (Azure, GCP preferred)
  • Data streaming experience with Frameworks like Kafka, etc.
  • REST API design (including micro-services) knowledge
  • CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, XL Deploy/XL Release, etc.) knowledge
  • Proven to be a team player and works well with team members
