Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and break down software requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases
  • Ability to write test cases and conduct testing
  • Test the product and drive resolution of defects
  • Establish and maintain test cases and test data
  • Create and maintain test cases in Jira-Xray
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools, such as Selenium, to ensure efficient and accurate testing
  • Execute automated test scripts and report any defects or issues found during testing
  • Conduct regular reviews and inspections of automated test scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Continuously improve the automation testing process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing appropriate solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation testing and incorporate them into the testing process as applicable
  • Actively participate in walkthroughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance
  • Collaborate with business users, system analysts, designers, and programmers to create and analyze various project documents
  • Plan, document, evaluate, and track testing results to ensure system applications are
    defect-free
  • Communicate and interact with relevant teams regarding problems, changes, and enhancements that may impact data, workflow, and functionality within Information Technology software
  • Follow standards and strategies of the agile scrum methodology
  • Pay attention to detail and strive for defect-free implementations
  • Able to manage deliverables on tight timelines and find creative solutions to any issues that arise
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of functional testing experience
  • 3+ years Proven experience in automation testing, with a solid understanding of test methodologies and best practices
  • 2+ years of experience in REST API Testing using Postman
  • Proficiency in using automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, for test script development
  • Experience with test management tools like Test Rail, Quality Center (ALM), XRay, or Zephyr, etc.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software systems
  • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products
  • Ability to run basic Linux commands for file management, command line utilities like ‘grep’, and Linux applications like ‘Tmux’
  • Proven highly organized and self-driven, capable of working with little or no supervision.
  • Solid multitasking skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Healthcare industry experience
