As a Product Consultant, you will join an elite team committed to changing health care through outstanding service and valuable products. You will perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling to identify statistical findings and conclusions. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diverse data analytics-focused projects for clients, build deliverable files, and assist with project scheduling and coordination of tasks
  • Collaborate on sales strategies with the development of market research and analysis
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with our broader product team and senior leadership teams
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to always meet deadlines
  • Execute creative problem solving and critical thinking on the job

Required Qualifications:

  • On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more actuarial exams
  • 1+ years of experience working in a consultancy as an actuary
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs
  • 1+ years of experience in R or a similar object-oriented language such as Python or VBA
  • Interest and experience in a customer facing role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI or similar programs such as Tableau
  • Experience examining and interpreting data using statistical and analytical tools to derive insights and make decision
  • Proven aptitude and solid interest in statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, etc.
  • Proven ability to work proactively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven flexibility to handle changing priorities/requirements/deadlines

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
